LIFE & DEATH
Life's like a tempting sweet
Which every living thing has to eat,
Like all sweet things tend to sour,
There're times when even living's a bore!
Like flavors on the palate do always differ,
Sometimes sweet sometimes bitter
Life's abound with joys and sorrows, multifarious, galore
Treading slow but sure towards a dreaded specter, all abhor
Death…a hallowing portal? … a harrowing final frontier?
Or merely an oasis of calm, a resting place,
For the soul to rest, recoup a while, a moment of solace
Yet again to move on, a life again to be born
A new hope, a new dawn
So why fear, live on, with your head held high,
For if it is done, When all is done, In eternal bliss,
my friend, you surely will lie…
